
This Pistachio Chocolate Bar is an indulgent treat combining the richness of milk chocolate with the nutty, slightly sweet flavor of pistachios. With a creamy pistachio filling layered between smooth chocolate and finished with a sprinkle of crushed nuts, it’s the perfect homemade confection to impress guests or gift during the holidays.
Ingredients:
12 oz milk chocolate, chopped (or chocolate chips)
1/2 cup pistachio butter (or finely ground pistachios mixed with 1 tbsp honey)
1/4 cup powdered sugar
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

2 tablespoons crushed pistachios (for garnish)

Instructions:
Step 1: Line a chocolate bar mold or small loaf pan with parchment paper. Melt half of the chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring between each until smooth.
Step 2: Pour half the melted chocolate into the mold and spread evenly. Tap gently to remove air bubbles. Chill in the fridge for 10–15 minutes to set.
Step 3: In a bowl, mix pistachio butter (or homemade blend), powdered sugar, vanilla, and a pinch of salt until smooth.
Step 4: Spread the pistachio mixture over the chilled chocolate layer. Return to the fridge for 10 minutes.
Step 5: Melt the remaining chocolate and pour over the pistachio layer, smoothing the top. Sprinkle crushed pistachios over while still wet.
Step 6: Chill again for 20–30 minutes, or until fully set.
Step 7: Once firm, remove from the mold and slice into bars or squares.
Storage Information:
Store the pistachio chocolate bar in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks. For longer storage, freeze for up to 2 months. Allow to come to room temperature before serving for best texture.
