
Instructions
Step 1: Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil.
Step 2: Spread the trimmed asparagus spears on the baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with salt, pepper, and garlic powder if using.
Step 3: Toss the asparagus to coat evenly, then spread them out in a single layer.
Step 4: Roast in the preheated oven for 12–15 minutes, or until the asparagus is tender and slightly crispy at the tips.
Step 5: Remove from the oven and immediately sprinkle with grated Parmesan, if desired. Serve warm.
Storage Information
Store leftover roasted asparagus in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven or a skillet for best texture. Not recommended for freezing, as the texture may become mushy.
